18.00–24.00 Great Castle Courtyard – programme created by the REX Agency with support by the City of Brno Council focusing on the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition to mark the anniversary of 600th anniversary of the death of Jobst of Luxembourg – dance, fencing and costumes from the Gothic period.

The Square Tower of the western wing of the castle, next to the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition. A tapestry replica by Věra Mičková, will resonate with the tones of period historical music in the animated knight’s hall.
The western wing – exhibition - Museum in Špilberk Castle Yesterday...Today…and Tomorrow?
The south-western bastion of Špilberk Castle will be transformed (weather permitting) into an observatory equipped with modern astronomical telescopes from the Brno Observatory and Planetarium with a magnificent view of the museum night sky above the city.
On the western courtine children can take a ride on horses or ponies.
In all of the courtyards there will be markets with historical goods, crafts and ample refreshments in taverns, and the castle wine room will stage a wine tasting organized by the Moravian Wine Bank.
